Participating in the design process and seeing the landscape projects come to life is what I enjoy most about my landscaping career. Meeting new people daily & working on unique projects always keeps me motivated. You’re always being creative & combining different materials to build an aesthetic & functional yard (i.e. Interlocking, Flagstone, Decking, Garden Beds, Artificial Turf, Sod). One can only call themselves fortunate if they are able to take part in a beautiful landscaping project with friends & happy clients!

I like seeing the transformation and working with the people who make it happen. Always happy helping guide clients in the right direction, and saving them money where we can. Overachieving the expectations & raising the bar. Decks, pavers, gardens, start to finish, they’re all fun!

Providing a stress-free experience & leaving the client with a properly done superior landscape is what I strive for every day. Seeing places transform into something nice & clean fulfills my day. Simple landscape projects like sodding, and more complicated projects which require planning like ones that involve retaining walls/interlocking make work interesting everyday.

I started landscaping out of love of working a more active lifestyle. The friends and companionship I’ve made over the years are like nowhere else. No project is the same. Learning something new everyday by working on challenging design/build landscapes advances my skillset constantly. The goal is for those softscapes & hardscapes to last not years but generations.

My favorite task in landscaping is sod installation. Nothing is better then rolling out some Kentucky Blue grass! I like working on different landscape designs and constructing what is on the plan in real life. The greatest satisfaction is seeing the finished product!

Constructing multi-dimensional hardscapes with the appropriate use of interlocking pavers and retaining walls is a what I enjoy the most. Every yard requires a different mix of paving stones and retaining wall blocks, its always a new layout we are working on. I’m grateful to be a part of a yard that changes the appearance of the house and our clients will get to enjoy daily.

Working with different types of lumber and composite/PVC materials produces a completely different look each time. My personal favorite is Cedar lumber, but I also like working with composite materials. With composite materials the screws do not penetrate the lumber, everything is secured with the clip system, it’s an installation technique which I have become to love for many reasons. Decks, Cabanas, Fences, Privacy lattices, & Green Roofs are what I work on daily.

I work with all types of natural and precast stone. Simple things like utilizing the proper capping & grout can really change the look of the finished product. We use a specific mortar mix suitable for the harsh Ontario weather conditions in the winter. All the stone I personally hand pick and make sure every stone is laid out in the nicest arrangement before securing them. I must say its like a puzzle, but attention to detail is what makes the finished stonework stand out.

My passion is handling plants. Tree & shrub plantings are done with thorough consideration for screening & a layered 3D effect which is mounded at the centre of the planting bed. Dry areas, moist areas, swampy areas, climatic zones, sun/shade, wind exposure, & style. There’s lots to consider when we fine tune our designs. I love being involved in the decision-making process. Goal is for the landscape to only get nicer with time.

Making properties look their best everyday is what we do! I love the smell of a freshly mowed lawn. I get familiar with all of our clients as I see them on a weekly basis. All of our clients are my friends & I am happy to be a part of the community and expand my friend list.
