About the Role

Precision Landscaping is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our growing team! Are you a creative professional with strong communication skills and marketing expertise? We're looking for someone who can develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to help drive our business forward.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: $37.50/hour

Work Environment: On-site (no remote option)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Your Responsibilities

As our Marketing Specialist, you will:

1. Develop and evaluate communication and marketing strategies and programs
2. Create written materials including reports, briefs, newsletters, brochures, and website content
3. Conduct market research, design questionnaires, and gather communications material
4. Plan and direct advertising and marketing campaigns
5. Develop marketing, advertising, and sales strategies tailored to client needs
6. Manage digital marketing initiatives including e-commerce and website promotions
7. Coordinate special publicity events and promotional activities
8. Respond to business inquiries concerning development opportunities
9. Advise clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies
10. Develop a portfolio of marketing materials
11. Assess requirements for equipment, materials, and supplies
12. Design and build public relations and promotional programs

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

1. College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
2. 2-3 years of marketing or related experience
3. Proficiency in communications and digital media

Technical Skills:

1. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
2. Adobe Photoshop
3. Microsoft Visio
4. WordPress
5. Spreadsheet software
6. MS Windows

The Role

You will lead complex, high-end landscape and pool projects from start to finish. As the main point of contact for clients, you'll be responsible for bringing their vision to life on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Attend client meetings and site walkthroughs
2. Evaluate site conditions and perform layouts
3. Develop and maintain client relationships
4. Prepare quotes and proposals for various project scopes
5. Interpret construction drawings and materials specs
6. Manage project timelines, workload, and budget
7. Lead a skilled team of landscapers and trades

What You Bring

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or landscape project management
2. In-depth knowledge of outdoor construction techniques and materials
3. Budgeting, scheduling, and leadership skills
4. Familiarity with Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar platforms
5. Valid G-class Ontario driver's license
